Midmark Buys Back Manual Exam Tables

Midmark's Barrier-Free tables are more chair-like, allowing the patient's feet to rest comfortably on the floor while waiting for the physician; and they adhere to ADA guidelines, offering 18-inch height from the floor at the lowest position to a fully extended height of 37 inches. This minimum height is actually lower than a standard chair, making it possible for patients of all heights and sizes to sit with ease.Midmark is buying back physicians’ manual exam tables as health care providers upgrade to what is quickly becoming the new industry standard for efficient patient care: Barrier-Free™ exam tables. Many physicians are equipping their offices with at least one of these accessible tables, which enable patients to easily get on and off the exam tables with little or no help, increasing efficiency, safety and comfort in the exam room for the physician, staff and patient. Equipping a practice with Barrier-Free tables also helps protect the practice from disability complaints and lawsuits. As part of Midmark’s Barrier- Free promotion, physicians who purchase a Midmark or Ritter Barrier-Free exam table between October 1, 2006 and November 30, 2006, and take delivery by December 31, 2006, can request that Midmark purchase their old examination table for $750.
