VERSAILLES, Ohio – Midmark Corporation kicked off its new Barrier-Free™ table promotion by offering special pricing for customers purchasing Midmark 622 and 623 and Ritter 222 and 223 Barrier-Free examination tables, as well as a buy-back program for physicians’ old exam tables when physicians replace them with Barrier-Free exam tables.

Everyone is entitled to equal access care, but for a large portion of the population, a visit to the doctor’s office is both stressful and ineffective. Barriers are created by equipment that does not address the physical limitations of all patients, including the elderly, disabled, obese and expectant mothers. To address these needs, Midmark created a line of Barrier-Free tables that are more “chair-like”, allowing the patient’s feet to rest comfortably on the floor. For each Midmark or Ritter Barrier-Free exam table purchased from October 1, 2007 – November 30, 2007, with delivery taken by December 31, 2007, customers can request that Midmark purchase their old exam table for $750. By doing so, they are agreeing to the pick up of the old exam table by their dealer representative or for the table to be destroyed or donated to a charitable organization.
