DRE will join plastic surgery professionals from nearly 50 countries in San Diego Oct. 11-15 for the 88th annual ASPS Expo. The conference, organized by The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Plastic Surgery Foundation and The American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, played host to approximately 3,400 people in 2012.

Be sure to visit with DRE’s medical equipment consultants Kary VanArsdale and Misty Hampton in booth #832 for show specials and giveaways. Surgical tables, lighting systems, anesthesia machines, and several patient monitoring systems — all of the tools a plastic surgery practice needs to outfit their facility will be on display.

Dr. S. Randolph Waldman, of the Waldman Schantz Plastic Surgery Center, said DRE provided his practice with a wide range of products for a low price.

“DRE was very helpful in every step along the way and offered cost effective alternatives for most of our equipment needs including everything from wall suction and oxygen to operating room tables and related equipment,” he said. “DRE is always quick to stand behind their products.”

DRE is continuing this trend featuring a full range of products for the ASPS Expo including:

The Waveline Monitor series features patient monitors with etCO2 monitoring options that comply with new capnography standards.

Both the Versailles P100 and DRE Milano T50 surgery tables are multi-purpose models that make cost-effective options for any practice. Beth Agnor, clinical director of Delaware Surgical Arts, said the Versailles P100 mobile surgery table provides safety and efficiency for both staff and patients.

“The ability to laterally tilt the patient with the Versailles P100 was one of the features that we were looking for in a table,” Agnor said. “This feature has certainly met that need. Few stretcher tables are able to provide that feature and the larger OR tables do not give you the flexibility to give patients better positioning, more comfort and the ability to transport the patient to the recovery area on the same bed.”

The DRE Integra SP I Anesthesia Machine’s compact design is a good option for smaller operating suites. It saves space while still facilitating balanced, low-flow anesthesia. And the DRE FX-300+ Surgical Headlight Light Source System, offers up to 1,000 hours of light at a crisp, white, 6000 degrees Kelvin temperature.
